Job that came late

I received a call from Nick (Goldtech Resources Pte Ltd). Asked me weather I found a job or not. "Yup", I replied. Lily opening for new recruitment, which was the same position that I applied 2 months ago. He told me that I was not selected not because they have found a better candiate but they having budget issue and therefore had to close the recruitment. Now the issue has solved and asked me weather am I still interested the job or not. I told him that if he called me 3 weeks before hand, I sure want the job but now I already signed the contact. I've been working for 3 weeks already. I asked him is it my expected salary is too high? "Nope", he answered. The rate is average. Even though now my salary was not what I expected but here the people and the environment are the best. My director is so friendly. Senior manage is friendly and cute. All of them don't use their seniority and position in any circumstance.

At 5.35pm, another recruitment agent called me. Mattrew (TBC HR Consulting (S) Pte Ltd). Asked me have I found a job already. Same answer to him as well. I asked him how's the interview upcome (which was pending)? He said is on hold. Well, he asked my salary as well. Actually I really can get a higher pay just that the timing is not right. And I realised that both companys recruitment are on hold. So coincidence that today 2 agents called me, told me similar reasons and asked me same questions.

Conclusion, US economy really bad in this time. For those who want to change job, quickly seize any opportunity before it's too late.

Buy new phone

I asked my friends which number they prefer 9616 1272, 9616 3101 and 962 00942.
4 of them choose 9616 1272. 2 of them choose 9616 3101. Finally I made a decision. 9616 1272 will be my new phone number. After reading all the review of the phone, I went online to look for the numbers again.

OMG~ I can't find 9616 1272 any more!!! It's almost 6pm and I'm going down to AMK hub to buy the phone soon. No choice, I choose 9616 3101.

Reached at AMK hub around 7pm. I went in to the shop and requested to view the numbers. All the numbers are bad. I asked the lady that is it possible to have the number listed on the website. "Can't", she said. Walk-in purhcase and online purchase are different. So I asked is there any difference if I purchase online? She said yes. She can give me free screen protector. I said, "Sorry, I prefer to have better number".

Bus 74 came at 7.30pm. Rushing home to watch "Super band" contest. For the love of god, please don't let "wu ke ren" in again. Their music is so awful.

I waited for my brother till 10.30pm then decided to give him a call. I requested for his Vista card number details cause I going to purchase the phone online and quickly choose the number before it disappear again.

Finally before 12, I successfully purchased the phone with the phone number that I wanted. =)

Having lunch with a bunch of jokers. Talking about driving along a wulu road which has a u-turn sign. The driver thought that the small gap between the divider is mend for the car to make a u-turn. In the end, the car went up the kerb. The driver was so nervous that he left his car and locked up. He said that he never been such a croward in his entire life man. The way he speaks is very funny. Haha~

At around 4.30pm, I made a phone call to singtel's consumer service hotline. The line is really hot I think. I waited for 14 minutes and the call ended all of the sudden. Zzz...

Then I went back to my office and make another phone call to CDC. I waited for 4 minutes. The line suddenly changed and disconnectd. I called back immediately and the voice mail said,"The operating hours is from 9am - 5pm." Zzz...

After work, i took company bus home. As usual, I asked the driver to stop me at the bus-stop.

I always wanted to make a paired of new spectacles. So I wished for bus unit number 107. The bus seats are very weirdly placed. It's like MRT where the seats are at the sides of the bus. And there's a bar alike table and 2 seats. The rear seats are like space seats.

After alighting, I headed to the optical shop. I choosed a big frame for my big head. The colour is black at the front, darker red for the sides. The lens are ractangle in shape. I made an request to update the lens. The usual cost is $68 + multi coat lens $20 = 88 bucks. Haha~ nice number... (^^,)

The lady called a guy to help me do the eye test for me. She shouted, "Henry".
The first look at him is very familiar. Oh~ he's from DT wing during my NS days.
Nice to meet him again.

Today is Kelly's birthday

I woke up at 9++am... Awhile later I SMS to PiangPiang and asked him whether he bought Kelly's present le ma... Then he reply buy le... Then I sent him another SMS at around 10.20am and asked him whether can I share with him coz I haven't bought her present and later need to go for training. But this time he never reply me.

During noon, I went to EY training... I reached there late... Reached there around 12.15pm but the training just started... the boring training last till 4.30pm...

I walked from Clarke Quay to Suntec City looking for her present. Along the journey I went to Esplanade to collect my pay cheque. Zzz... The pay is not correct wor...

Today I reached Suntec @ 11am sharp. At around 2pm, I saw my mum. She smiled and waved at me. Hehe~ I never tell anyone that she's my mum. =P
Story to be continue... Pai seh ah... Mi very tired le... This few days have to work for long hours and not enough sleep too... =(

Today’s graduation ceremony is fun!!!

I reached NYP at around 11.40 am. First, was to find my friends lor…(^^,)

John, Jonathon and Michael were already there… John and Jonathon wear their graduation attire le… So I also quickly wear mine too… Stupid Michael and Jeremy still don’t want to wear the graduation attire… Saying that it will be very hot after wearing it… Zzz…

I saw Carol Tok too… but I only wave to her and say, “Hi~”. (At that moment, I’m busy talking to my mum wor.)

In the auditorium, everyone has to queue up in alphabetical order. I greeted Mr Yin when I was walking towards my queue.

Everyone has to wait till further instruction is given.

Next, we brought to the theater. Yeah~ Finally can sit le… But…!!! We had to listen to some useless speech by the VIPs and the principle.

After waiting for so long… Finally its time to go up stage and hand shake with the principle and take photo… I was very nervous… The lady reminded me to smile later on stage. Gosh~ My face must be looking bad ba…

Oh!!! It’s my turn!!! I just quickly pass my sip to the lady and stand by. Lecturer May congrated me while I was standing at the ‘x’ spot. Woo~ She still remembered me wor…

When my name is read…I walk quickly towards the principle and hand shake with him. Then I smiled and made a good posture to let the photographers to take the photo of us…

After that, still got some speech and small dance performance by the students.

*Yawn~*

Finally finish le… I saw John and asked him to take photo with me later… But outside auditorium is chaotic lor… Haha~ I saw PiangPiang. I asked to be my photographer. And I saw Jason Pan. He asked me whether wants to take photo together. While we were waiting for our turn, he disappear le…

It’s my turn le… PiangPiang asked me to move here, move there. But…Hmmm~ He’s photo taking skill not bad wor… And he helped me to take some photos. Most of the photos were me and my mum standing together de lor…

Next, I went to Block S to collect my cert. At the entrance, I saw DT Jackson. He’s same as usual… Joker lor… I actually want to ask him where’s DT Dorin since I saw Mr Yin and him le… But I didn’t ask him la…

I went in the lecturer theater room to collect my cert. At the exit, DT Felicia asked me to donate 10 bucks to the charity. Plus 5 bucks more can get a toy duck. Then I donate lor… The toy duck the mouth got different colour de… got red, green, blue and purple. I choosed the red mouth de… She said red one left one only… She asked why so many people choose red de… I said because the red mouth match with the yellow body ma… Aiya~ Nevermind la… 15 bucks only ma… v(^ ^)v

So coincidence lor... When I reached home, I saw birthday reminder from friendster.

Today is Xiwen's birthday. I wished her happy birthday in MSN messenger. She said that we long time no see le... But hor... It's only about 6 months only la... She said I still remember her. Hmmm... Although I'm a very forgetful person... But remembering a person is easy ma...

Haha~ Actually the most long time no see people were the Batch 9 GuitarClub members. I managed to chat with them online only... (> <)

I first time went to Desmond's house... He lives at Woodlands lor... Very far away from my house leh... But bo bian la... Mi so free and long time no see him
le wor...

Mi waited for him at Woodlands MRT control station for about 20 minutes then he appear... very "fast" lor... Haha~

Still need to walk about 2 to 3 bus-stop distance then reached his house wor...

Along the way, Desmond asked how am I recently... so I told him I just went to an job interview lor... And I told him that the guy keeps saying we don't look at your grades... Then he laughed and said that the guy must be jealous of my grades... And I also follow him laughing...

Haha~ Daniel also at home wor... He showed mi ASP and PHP programming code used in his server...

Then we went to have our dinner... The two brothers treat mi eat... And I treat them drink...

Later we went back and discussing about my Ragnarok Online character builds...

OMG~ Time flies very fast lor... Already 11.30pm le wor... My last bus left le!!!?

Desmond accompany mi to the interchange... Haha~ last bus gone le... Heng still can take MRT...

From Ang Mo Kio, lucky still can manage to take the last bus to home... Yay~ v(^^)v

I reached home around 12.20am... Then I saw Kelly's message at the MSN messenger...

She said that she doesn't know how to change the code for her blog... And she asked mi whether I can help her or not...

Of course can la... Mi so free and if I don't use my brain is kinda waste my talent lor... Keke~

But honestly, I don't what she want leh... Abit ambiguous... And somemore after she offline le... After awhile, my messenger exit le mi also don't know
wor...

Gosh~ I can't remember much of the conversion lor...

I did her blog till 8am then mi go orhorh le...

I went to job interview on 28th May 2007 (Monday) at 3.00pm @ Panasonic Semiconductor Singapore.

I reached Ang Mo Kio just in time... But I don't where's the place leh... I walked one big round then reach the guard house...

At the guard house, have to fill-out the form and also need to pass them my identity card... I asked them whether can I pass them my student card and they said can...

Woo~ I first have to change to my formal attire lor... Then I went into the HR department and press the bell...

Then one lady came and collect all my documents... I waited there for around 20 minutes later then she bring mi to the interview room...

In that room, got one uncle and one youngster... They both initiate hand-shake... So I just shake hand with them lor...

The uncle first question asked mi was "You not electrical or mechanical ah?"... What the hell!!! I think that's a lousy question lor... The ads did put looking for Diploma in Electron, Electrical and Mechanical lor... And the way he asked all the questions are not related to the job de...

When it comes to the youngster turn even worse lor... First thing he said, "Actually we don't look at your grades"... Ya I know that... Since he's looking at my transcript so I asked him, "Is there any of my modules meet the criteria of this job..." And he replied "We don't look at your grades"... Argh~ Why he keeps mentioning about my grades...

After the interview, they initiate hand-shake again and the youngster asked mi whether I need back my documents... I said don't need... I still have copys for it...

Hmmm... When was my last time watching movie? Erm... Anyway I went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean (At World's End) with Kelly...

We meet at the Orchard MRT control station there... I reached there awhile then saw someone looks like waving to mi... Then I slowly walk towards that person...
Oh~ Is Kelly la... (I'm blind right? Haha~)

Then I have my breakfast at McDonald's... I asked for tea but the auntie give mi coffee leh... If I drink the coffee le... Later sure need to go toilet to
poo de lor... Anyway... I manage to change the drinks la...

The RSAF really rich hor... Give free movie tickets... And somemore got provide lunch also...

After watching the movie, I don't understand the movie at all lor... Anyway... I'm not proficient in "Understanding" lol...

Then We went to have our lunch at near-by plaza...

After that Kelly want to go home sleep... Mi also need to go back home to fill up my job application form...

When I reached home... First thing came to my mind, "Oh ya hor... My printer cannot print leh..." So I message to Charlotte and ask her for help lor...

Haha~ long time no see her le wor... I thought her "tail" must be very... very... long le wor... Haha~ looks like never grow much longer lor...

Then she asked mi whether want to eat dinner together or not... But I just had my lunch not long ago wor... So she said nevermind lor... But I think I owe her a
dinner la... Since she helped mi...

In game, mi peacefully hunting for my elipse during 2x drop event...
Suddenly one "pro" came to my map and ks mi for nothing...
He tought his level higher than mi can kill steal mi but he still lose to mi lor... Muhahaha!!!
But it's very annoying lor... Mi scolded him "kser" and "noob". Haiz~ No choice la... Mi change channel lor... Staying in that channel will increase my blood pressure and make mi vormit blood only...
